Carrara Wave - 6w 8lbs. turntable base

This is another stone we brought back in a suitcase from our Italy visit in 1999. The block sat on my shelf, floor, counter, wherever there was space. I could not start chipping without a vision of this precious stone. So I waited and waited, and waited. Finally, one day in the summer of 2015 walking past the rough stone, I saw it! This carving was a sheer pleasure to sculpt. It brings back fond memories. I love petting it! Yes, I enjoy my sculptures to be experienced not only visually but also by touch.
